Callie debuted her first book at the Florida PTA conference in June 2021 at Innisbrook golf course. Florida PTA is the largest statewide volunteer association working exclusively on behalf of children and youth. Founded in 1923 as a branch of the 4 million member National PTA, Florida PTA is made up of approximately 1,450 local units with more than 300,000 Florida members seeking to unite home, school and community for all children. For over 120 years, PTA has provided resources and important information to parents, educators and elected officials. PTA members advocate every day for children.
Our hope is to get Callie’s book into the hands of as many children as possible, not only to entertain but to educate about the calico breed, feline leukemia and pet adoption. The event did not have as many people because of covid, however we are still seeing sales come in from a result! So that is awesome!
